Offered for sale is a pair of Yamaha NS-20T two way 8" book shelf speakers. Introduced in 1982 with an MSRP of $258/pair. Couldn't find much info on them other than the frrequency response 50 Hz to 20.000 Hz. When I first acquired these speakers both tweeters were dead. I removed the old tweeters and glued some brand new soft dome tweeters to the back. I then replaced the original tweeter cover and used some longer screws so they went into the pkastic frame on the new tweeters. The woofers are original and are in excellent condition, no tears in the comes and very strong foam surrounds. The grills are also in excellent condition with no tears or stains. I also replaced all the caps in the crossover with brand new ones. The cabinets are in very good condition, A couple of the corners the veneer was starting to peel off and I reglued it with some contact cement. The cabinets now look great. After I installed the new tweeters and caps I played them. They sounded fantastic. Nice deep bass but not boomy and crystal clear highs. The dimensions are 18 5/8" H X 11 3/16" W X 9.1/4" D (with the grills). They weigh a hefty 19 lbs. each. There is only one pair and one signle speaker currently listed on eBay. Both appear to be in good condition and are listed as working. The single speaker is selling shipped for $115 and the pair is selling shipped for $227.
